A Plea for a raise. By Jack Kennedy

In 1964, Life Magazine published an article on the items Jackie Kennedy had selected for a traveling exhibit on her late husband. The exhibit would raise the funds needed for the Kennedy Library to be established at Harvard. It included photos, a collection of carved whale’s teeth, Kennedy’s own artwork made during a period of convalescence from back pain, and this letter, written to his father by a young Jack Kennedy, requesting a raise in his allowance.
